Forklift Driver's Licence Level 1: 2-Day Basic Training

This 2-day basic training course is the comprehensive foundational training for anyone who is new to Get a forklift license It is aimed at employees with no prior practical experience in using front loaders.

The structured Forklift driver training provides the legally required basis for the safe operation of industrial trucks in the workplace. Companies are obliged to use only qualified and instructed persons - but high-quality training goes far beyond simply fulfilling obligations.

Forklift Truck Licence Level 1: 1-Day Intensive Training

The Forklift Driver Training Intensive Course This is aimed at experienced employees who already possess practical driving skills and wish to obtain official certification in a concise format.

Forklift Training - Level 2 Supplementary Qualification

Stage 2 training is a device-specific extension of the Forklift licence and is aimed at Level 1 holders.

Those working in high-bay warehouses or narrow warehouse structures require additional knowledge in handling reach trucks. These special Forklift driver training extends the basic qualification to more demanding areas of deployment.

When Level 2 is necessary

Reach trucks are significantly different from conventional counterbalance forklifts:
Higher lift heights, more sensitive handling and narrow traffic routes require additional training content. Therefore, the professional association has laid down supplementary qualification level 2, in theory and practice, for operators of reach trucks.

General Requirements & Framework Conditions

All training sessions for Forklift driver's licence They are based on the requirements of DGUV Principle 308-001 and DGUV Regulation 68, and also focus specifically on safety-critical situations in everyday operations.

Forklift licence content

  • Theory lessons

  • Practical driving and stacking exercises on the ground, in high-bay warehouses and on truck trailers (available in our training centre).

  • Final exam

  • Documentation according to DGUV regulation

  • Physical and mental fitness

Special Course: Intensive and Safety Training

Das Sicherheitstraining baut auf dem vorhandenen Forklift driver's licence and is aimed at experienced drivers.

Experience alone does not prevent accidents. This training sharpens hazard awareness and optimises driving behaviour in complex situations. We are happy to accommodate customer requests, so that the special practical training is also suitable for long-term forklift drivers. This involves training specific aspects such as your particular load carriers (dimensions, contents, weight), narrow routes, or unclear traffic situations.
